Fall Colors Quilt Show Once again, Mountain Star Quilters presents the Fall Colors Quilt Show on October 3 and 4, 2009 in Downieville, CA. As usual, the Show is expected to be wonderful, providing a perfect opportunity for a weekend get-away. Along with new quilts made by busy guild members, the Show will feature projects from last year’s Retreat classes. There will be vendors, and a beautiful Opportunity quilt. This year’s quilt is called “French Essence”, and is a Mount Redoubt design, pieced and hand quilted by Mountain Star Quilters. The winning ticket will be drawn on Sunday, October 4, at 3 o’clock. The Quilt Show is at the Community Hall on Main Street in Downieville. Hours are Saturday, October 3, 10 to 5 o’clock, and Sunday, October 4, 10 to 4 o’clock. Admission is $4.
